Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release with Wingate Paine
Wingate Paine III, LMT, is a highly skilled manual therapist specializing in Cranial Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release. The goal of his work is to release persistent tension held in the body with the understanding that this enhances the body’s capacity to heal itself. Wingate has helped many clients who have suffered from old injuries and trauma breakthrough to new levels of wellbeing and vitality. Areas in which he excels at resolving longstanding issues are chronic headaches and migraines, chronic knee pain, sciatic pain, severe anxiety, spinal pain, carpal-tunnel syndrome, stagnant liver-gallbladder conditions, whiplash trauma, concussions, TBI and PTSD. The body is designed to heal and release unhelpful tension when touched with firm but gentle pressure for many seconds to a few minutes. When done correctly, this approach yields tremendous results and can lead to sudden breakthroughs in difficult health challenges. While the arc of treatment varies from client to client, most individuals feel a significant sustained shift in their symptoms after 1 or 2 sessions. The goal of this work is resolve painful symptoms of trauma and pain so treatment is no longer needed. This is unique from many current methods of medical treatment which seek to extend care and increase repeat consumption of services and products. Wingate is uniquely driven to find solutions to the health challenges clients are dealing with and deliver results that are satisfying and durable.
With a diploma in Polarity Therapy from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, his Massage Therapy Training from Parker University and extensive post-graduate training in many other advanced manual therapies, Wingate has spent years refining his approach to soft tissue therapy, helping clients resolve longstanding problems with chronic tension, trauma, and pain. His work is centered on releasing restrictions held in the body's fascial and spinal systems—two deeply interconnected networks that influence structural integrity, nervous system function, and overall well-being. At the end of the day, healing is an internal process mediated by our cells and organ systems. Most therapies seek to liberate the ways in which this process becomes inefficient during sickness or injury. Reducing unhealthy levels of muscular tension and promoting structural alignment helps increase the efficiency of the Autonomic Nervous System while also increasing circulation. These two very important metrics of health can yield tremendous results when supported sufficiently, while leading to exciting and satisfying progress.
How His Approach Works:
* Myofascial Release (MFR) targets the body’s connective tissue, or fascia, which can become tight and restricted due to injury, stress, or poor posture. By gently engaging the fascia and allowing it to soften and unwind, Myofascial Release restores mobility, reduces pain, and enhances the body's natural alignment.
* Cranial sacral therapy works by gently releasing tension around the the head, neck, spine and pelvis. This subtle yet powerful technique helps release deep-seated restrictions in the nervous system, allowing for profound relaxation, improved neurological function, increased circulation to the brain, and relief from headaches, migraines, head injuries, concussions, TBI and chronic stress patterns.
* Synergistic Healing – By integrating these approaches, Wingate’s work addresses both structural imbalances and the nervous system’s regulation, making it particularly effective for individuals with chronic pain, postural dysfunctions, stress-related conditions, and unresolved physical or emotional trauma. Most clients experience significant reductions in pain and tension within 1 or 2 sessions, as the body naturally reorganizes and restores itself.
What to Expect in a Session:
Sessions are conducted with the client fully clothed in a calming environment, with a focus on the head, neck, back, and spine—key areas where restrictions often accumulate. Wingate use’s both a massage table and a Thai massage mat, as each offers different levels of tissue engagement. Clients can choose which approach to experience and also learn more about the benefits of each approach if they have questions. The work is gentle yet deeply effective, engaging the body's self-healing mechanisms to bring about lasting changes.
Wingate sees clients at his home office in Prosper and also offers house calls throughout the North Metroplex. Sessions are typically one hour and are priced at $150 per hour. Longer sessions are available and can be helpful for those with more complex issues, as a deeper dive in a more concentrated application can be needed to create a desired shift towards health more quickly.
For those seeking relief from chronic pain, stress, or long-held tension patterns, Wingate’s expertise offers a deeply restorative and transformative approach to healing. Those who have had difficulty finding relief from chronic pain and emotional trauma often experience meaningful breakthroughs and resolution after working with Wingate.
